The National Confederation of Disabled People has released a guide for recreational activities in Greece that addresses accessibility and infrastructure for disabled citizens and visitors of Greek cities and prefectures (hotels, museums, restaurants, cafes and other services).

The guide comes to inform the disabled on existing infrastructure and services they can access for tourist, cultural and recreation activities during their stay in Greece.

The 318-page guide is user-friendly as it provides basic instructions, special labels and terminology explanations.

The guide for recreational activities in Greece is free of charge from the National Confederation of Disabled People in Athens (236 Eleftheriou Venizelou St., Ilioupoli, tel 210 9949837) and its branches in Thessaloniki, Patra and Heraklio, Crete.

The guide is also available in electronic form from the confederation’s website www.esaea.gr/odigos/.
