DESCRIPTION:Tourest is the oldest and largest travel trade fair in the Baltic countries that has been organized by the Estonian Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ETFL) since 1991. It covers all the main travel segments\, offering efficient platform to meet face to face the travel-hungry consumers and the majority of the market’s travel trade professionals who make the purchase decisions. It’s the optimum environment to present your products at the start of the season. \nTourest 2016\, the 25th jubilee of Tourest\, the fair was visited by over 25 000 people\, who had the great possibility to familiarize with the record number of 521 exhibitors from 22 countries. Tourest got vast media coverage with 270 registered media items. \nTourest is held in 3 halls. In the main hall\, there are represented foreign destinations\, Estonian and foreign tour operators\, travel agencies\, transportation and insurance companies\, educational institutions\, hotels\, spas\, restaurants\, entertainment and leisure companies\, etc. In “Holidays in Estonia” hall\, Estonian spas and tourism regions are represented to give an overview of what Estonia has to offer as a destination. For our little tourism fans\, there is a children hall to offer them variable fun and educative activities. \nFurthermore\, there is always an interactive main stage program to amuse our visitors even more. Many presentations\, performances\, auctions\, quizes\, games\, etc. take place. Every exhibitor has the opportunity to participate in the main stage program and thereby benefit even more. In addition\, it is possible to hold seminars\, workshops etc. in the fair centre’s seminar rooms.

DESCRIPTION:MaskaRun is a colorful festive\, a walk run\, in which can take part adults and kids as well. It’s an original road race\, which was organized for first time worldwide\, in Orchomenos in 2016. \nIts main feature is the participation and the termination to the race\, the joy of sport and the teamwork. It’s an invitation to change the life style\, a getaway from the daily routine. \nThis event is connected to the carnival\, as it opens the event series of Orchomenos Carnival. The road is some 2\,2km through the town\, with start point the Skripou Square and end point the Iroon Square. \nThe MaskaRun is organized by the Cultural Traditional Club of Orchomenos in cooperation with the website www.asopichos.gr\, as the inspirator of the event is Mr Babis Zannias\, journalist and owner of the above mentioned website. The event is supported by the Orchomenos Municipality\, Motor Club of Orchomenos and much more local institutions and companies.
