DESCRIPTION:The successful golf tournament Greek Maritime Golf Event\, which is addressed exclusively to the shipping community\, will return for its 10th year at Costa Navarino Messinia and its two signature 18-hole courses\, International Olympic Academy Golf Course and The Hills Course\, on September 5-8\, 2024\, attracting the interest of Greek and global industry elite. \nThe event is a constant meeting point for Greek and International shipping executives that share a passion for golf\, providing them with an opportunity to discuss the challenges of the maritime industry in a relaxed environment. \nA first class\, 18-hole golf tournament that brings passionate golfers of the Greek and International maritime industry together 80 leading executives of the maritime industry form teams of 4 players with a maximum participation of 20 teams\, by invitation. \nNo professional golfers will be allowed to participate in the event. \nCompetition Format: \nTexas Scramble (3/4 hcp)\nCompetition format that rewards both team and individual performance using the Stableford format as a basis for scoring.\nWith Texas Scramble each team member tees off at each hole.
