DESCRIPTION:The YPERIA International Convention on Tourism and Culture will be held during 31 October – 5 November 2018 on Amorgos island\, for the 16th consecutive year. \nThe Convention aims to promote the natural beauty and culture of Amorgos\, foster an exchange of ideas on cultural heritage preservation\, as well as present and promote current projects on the island of Amorgos. \nJust like every year\, YPERIA is expecting a great number of participants: journalists\, filmmakers\, producers\, photographers/reporters and tour operators. \nThis year the theme of the convention is “Gastronomy – Culture & Tourism”\, as a tribute to the South Aegean Region as the Gastronomy Region of Europe 2019. \nRepresentatives of Women’s Associations in the Cyclades and the Municipalities of  South Aegean Region will present their products\, their local flavors and dishes. \nThe 9th Amorgos Tourism Film Festival will take place within the frame of YPERIA. \nThe convention will be held in English and is organized by the Cultural Association of Women of Amorgos in cooperation with the Municipality of Amorgos and the South Aegean Region. \nCheck here the convention’s program.

DESCRIPTION:The 57th ICCA Congress will be held in Dubai\, on November 11-14\, 2018. In 2018\, ICCA Congress will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum\, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. Moreover\, ICCA is working with United Arab Emirates-based charity Noor Dubai Foundation\, helping to support their vision for a world free from avoidable forms of blindness. So\, all proceeds from the Gifts of Love 2018 project and Fun Run and Walk\, plus any other donations\, will go to their various international and national projects. \nAs every year the congress incorporates the General Assembly\, as well as many individual meetings\, presentations\, discussions\, seminars etc. \nDelegates will first meet in their sectors (industry supplier segments) to discuss issues of relevance to their branch of the meetings industry\, to debate the merits of policy changes and other proposals recommended by ICCA’s Board of Directors\, and to develop new ICCA projects and promotions. After discussing those important internal matters\, different sector education sessions start and delegates can choose which sector education session they would like to join regardless to which sector they belong to. \nThere will be a range of new networking experiments introduced to enable delegates to do better business with each other\, and to exchange knowledge more effectively. This is the second year that the ICCA Congress incorporate the Tech Pavilion & Tech Kiosk. This is is an exciting chance for participants & their innovative tech solutions to be in front of the right audience with their own booth in the ICCA Congress Tech Pavilion. \n
