DESCRIPTION:SETE’s Annual Conference will take place on December 12th\, 2023\, at the Athens Conservatoire. This year’s conference\, named “Reframing Tourism“\, aims to fuel a productive discussion around the future of sustainable tourism. \nAt this year’s conference SETE will attempt to redefine the role Tourism is called to play within society\, economy\, entrepreneurship\, and the environment\, taking into consideration how the world today is  rapidly changing. \nMain topics covered during the Conference will be: \n\nHow the strategic plan for the transition of Greek tourism to a path of sustainable development should be designed.\nWhich are the challenges for the Greek tourism product as regards competitiveness\, and what are the geopolitical developments to be addressed.\nDuring the following years\, how resilient could the Greece brand be and which will be its distinguishing features.\nEnvironment and society: Climate change and its consequences.\nHow the destinations management can be combined with their promotion and visibility\, resulting in an integrated/360 strategy.\nTourism’s production model and its evolution.\n\nSETE’s 2023 Conference «Reframing Tourism» aims to link tourism entrepreneurship to society\, the state\, the institutions\, and the economy\, targeting a common path towards a sustainable and competitive future.
