DESCRIPTION:Adriatic Sea Forum\, the international\, itinerant forum dedicated to maritime tourism in the Adriatic Sea\, is back for its sixth edition in Dubrovnik\, May 4-5 2023. \nAdriatic Sea Forum\, thanks to its widely appreciated formula\, is a crucial meeting point for all players with interests in the cruise\, ferry and nautical areas and more generally in the tourism and maritime sectors\,who operate partly or exclusively in the Adriatic. It is an opportunity for all those interested in the maritime and tourism sectors to update\, create\, share and spread information\, projects\, knowledge and relationships. \nThe 2023 edition of the Adriatic Sea Forum\, organized by Rispote Turismo in partnership with the Dubrovnik Port Authority\, will take place in Dubrovnik on Thursday the 4th and Friday the 5th of May at the Royal Ariston Hotel. \nThe event is dedicated to the analysis of numerous topics of interest for the cruise\, ferry and nautical markets in the Adriatic area. Among them: the course of the tourist flows by sea\, the developments and the perspectives of the market with a focus on sustainability\, mobility and infrastructures\, the challenges of the local operators in a sector populated by large multinational companies and the investments planned for the coming years. The forum provides a series of round tables\, opportunities for discussion and debate for representatives of the major companies in the sector and individual interventions by market experts dedicated to the deepening of the topics scheduled. In the Forum’s opening phase\, the new edition of the Adriatic Sea Tourism \nThe main point of Adriatic Sea Forum is to favour the promotion of the whole Adriatic area through fitting choices and strategies and to enhance the cooperation among  7 nations (Albania\, Bosnia and Herzegovina\, Croatia\, Greece\, Montenegro\, Italy and Slovenia)\, 25 regions and more than 150 destinations on facing the Adriatic sea. DESCRIPTION:After five years\, European Tourism Day is back! \nThis event will be an opportunity to take stock of the EU tourism policy in the context of the green and digital transition\, to follow up on the Tourism Transition Pathway and share the best practices for its co-implementation. On this occasion\, Thierry Breton\, Commissioner for Internal Market\, will exchange with tourism stakeholders in a dedicated opening debate. \nThe European Tourism Day will be a one-day\, onsite high-level meeting with the possibility for additional audiences to follow via web streaming. The session will feature simultaneous interpretation in English\, French\, German\, Italian and Spanish. \nSince 2018\, several challenges have confronted the EU tourism ecosystem\, but it now has the tools to look forward towards 2030. \nAfter a long and intense co-creation process\, the transition pathway for tourism was published in February 2022 and was used as a basis for the European Tourism Agenda 2030\, adopted by the Council last December. \nOn the occasion of European tourism Day 2023\, the European Commission intends to organise \n\nan orientation debate to discuss the resilience of the ecosystem\nthree roundtables\, each focusing on different important aspects such as the twin transition and the upskilling of the workforce in the EU tourism ecosystem\n\nThe event will take place in Brussels on 5 May 2023.
