DESCRIPTION:The 9th Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS)\, the world’s largest crewed yacht charter show will be held on April 27th to May 1st\, 2024 at the picturesque town of Nafplio. \nIt is a main yachting event that will display in the best possible way the “crème de la crème” of the licensed and legally operating highly professional yachts and crews in this part of the World. \nOrganized by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) and held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the crucial support of the Municipality of Nafplion\, the Mediterranean Yacht Show has established itself as a must-attend event on the global yachting calendar\, offering foreign brokers the opportunity to inspect and appraise an outstanding fleet of commercial EU-flagged luxury yachts and the high caliber of services they provide. Save the date for the show that plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of yachting in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean. \nIn terms of attending yachts\, the 2023 MEDYS once again surpassed the numbers achieved by shows of the same nature that cover the Americas and the Western Mediterranean and reinforced its position as the leading show of its kind. The 8th MEDYS featured 92 yachts with an impressive cumulative length of 3.5 km and an equally impressive waiting list (due to limited space in the port of Nafplio) that well exceeded that of previous years. The event attracted more than 750 yachting professionals from 31 countries who had the opportunity to inspect yachts with a Greek charter licence\, meet the crew\, and discover a wide range of services and products. \nThe quantity and quality of the participating yachts\, in combination with the unique location and the hospitality that Greeks are famous for\, have established the MEDYS as the must-attend event on the international yachting calendar. The laid-back atmosphere that prevails\, and creates countless networking opportunities for attendees\, is also one of the strong points of the show. \nThe Chefs’ Competition will also be returning in 2024 to challenge the creativity\, talent\, and skills of the yacht chefs. “Zero Waste” was the theme for 2023: it raised the bar and there is already anticipation\, seasoned with a little healthy anxiety\, for next year. The judging panel will\, as always\, be stellar and the organisers have lost no time in reaching out to restaurant chefs who are cooking up a storm in the culinary world. It takes talent to recognise talent as they say. \nA schedule of social events\, including receptions and parties\, will add a further dimension to the show with the aim of offering an experience that is both productive and pleasurable.

DESCRIPTION:Μετά την μεγάλη επιτυχία του 1ου Aegean Yachting Festival το 2020\, του 2ου Aegean Yachting Festival το 2021\, και του 3ου  Aegean Yachting Festival το 2022\, με περισσότερους από 6.500 επισκέπτες\, 25 brokers από Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό\, 36 εκθέτες και 58 σκάφη όλων των κατηγοριών τον τελευταίο χρόνο\, στο νησί της Ρόδου\, η διοργανώτρια εταιρεία BoatsAdvisor – Hub&Events μαζί με επίσημους φορείς αποφάσισαν τον ανασχεδιασμό του Aegean Yachting Festival. \nΗ μετατροπή αυτή του φεστιβάλ θα αφορά όλο το φάσμα του θαλάσσιου τουρισμού (κρουαζιέρας\, ιστιοπλοΐας\, καταδύσεων\, θαλάσσιων σπορ\, αλιευτικού τουρισμού) και όχι αποκλειστικά το Yachting\, το οποίο θα αποτελεί πλέον υποκατηγορία του. \nΈτσι το Aegean Yachting Festival μετονομάζεται σε International Sea Tourism Festival – Rhodes (ISTF) και η 4η σε σειρά διοργάνωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί το διάστημα από 29 Σεπτεμβρίου έως 01 Οκτωβρίου στο νησί της Ρόδου. \nΣκοπός του συγκεκριμένου φεστιβάλ είναι η προβολή και η ανάδειξη της περιφέρειας του Νοτίου Αιγαίου\, ως ατμομηχανής του θαλάσσιου τουρισμού της χώρας και σταυροδρόμι των χωρών της νοτιοανατολικής Μεσογείου\, με απώτερο σκοπό\, να συνεχίσει να αποτελεί θεσμό τα επόμενα χρόνια και σταθμό για τον θαλάσσιο τουρισμό κάθε μορφής. \nTο Φεστιβάλ τελείται υπό την αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Τουρισμού\, του Υπουργείου Ναυτιλίας\, του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού\, του ΕΟΤ\, του Ναυτικού Επιμελητηρίου Ελλάδος\, της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου\, του Δήμου Ρόδου\, του ΔΟΠΑΡ\, του Επιμελητηρίου Δωδεκανήσου & της Ένωσης Ξενοδόχων Ρόδου. \nΠληροφορίες συμμετοχής μπορείτε να βρείτε στο παρακάτω σύνδεσμο: https://seatourismfestival.com

DESCRIPTION:Brevet Philippi is an annual event organized by local cycling and civil society organizations\, within the historical plain of Philippi Park region. It follows the development rules on cycling tourism set by the Brevet Randonneurs Mondiaux και Audax Club Parissien and is supervized by the Brevet Randonneurs Greece. Brevet Philippi is a 210 km historical route\, passing through more than 20 local villages and the Municipalities of Kavala\, Drama\, Doxato\, Prosotsani\, Nea Zichni and Amphipolis \nThis  cycling route unites some very important cultural\, agricultural and environmental places\, of which the most famous are the Archeological site of Philippi (Unesco World Heritage site)\, the Valley of Philippi and the Archaeological site of Amphipolis. The Brevet Philippi event aims to promote the Roman Battle of Philippi that took place at 42 b.C and was so important that changed the history of Democracy within Europe and the World. \nThe Brevet Philippi is an ambitious effort with international development goals around the Balkan and European countries\, attracting visitors with sports and cultural interest and with an initial interest in cycling but also in other sports and cultural products. The products and services of the region are promoted through the mantle of culture and sport. During the event\, local products are promoted\, tourism and activities are provided by local gastronomy\, tourism and entertainment businesses.
