Η τελευταία παράμετρος είναι μία από εκείνες – ίσως η πιο προφανής οικονομικά – που συνδέει την αρχιτεκτονική με τον τουρισμό. Ο συνδυασμός της φύσης\, του δομημένου περιβάλλοντος\, των ανθρώπων και των δραστηριοτήτων τους\, που συνθέτουν την ταυτότητα του τόπου και την μοναδικότητα – ή και το αντίθετο – της εμπειρίας είναι άλλη μία ακόμη παράμετρος. \nΣε αυτό το πλαίσιο\, είναι σαφές ότι η αρχιτεκτονική δύναται να δώσει λύσεις – ή να ολιγωρήσει – για μία σειρά από φλέγοντα ζητήματα.
