DESCRIPTION:The Aegean Regatta 2023 the established sailing race that is an institution for the nautical sports of Greece and has a prominent place in the hearts of sailors and residents of the Aegean Sea\, will be held this year\, for the 22nd time\, from 19-26 August\, centred on the maritime region of the Eastern Aegean. \nThe Aegean Regatta takes place annually since 2001 and is the leading regatta in the Aegean Sea. But what exactly is a regatta? It is a series of boat races mostly with sailing boats that last for a few days and are often surrounded by other events. \nThe routs of the Aegean Regatta change every year. The regatta is not just about winning a prize. It is also about seeing different places\, attracting visitors and simply to enjoy this beautiful sport. This years route starts from Lesvos island at Molivos and sailors will  travel to the islands of Psara\, Chios\, Oinousses and back to Chios island for the closing ceremony. \nThe Aegean Regatta 2023 is organized by the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy\, in co-operation with the Hellenic Sailing Federation / Hellenic Offshore Committee (H.S.F / H.O.C.) and the following Clubs: Offshore Yachting Club of Rhodes\, Mytilene Sailing Club\, Offshore Racing Club of Lesvos\, Nautical Club of Chios\, Nautical Club of Samos and the coordinator for 2023\, PEKEV Chios. \nFollow the Regatta’s Facebook page and stay updated with all the latest news.

DESCRIPTION:Held physically in pandemic years of 2021 and 2022\, ITE Hong Kong reconnect early multi-national exhibitors\, trade and public visitors boosting tourism recovery! \nStrongly supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China\, the annual ITE is Hong Kong’s only travel fair\, next to be held from June 15 to 18\, 2023 at Halls 1 Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. \nHong Kong\, from September 26\, scrap hotel quarantine and only require international arrivals to take PCR test at airport\, who then can take public transport to home or hotel; if the PCR test is negative then self-monitor for three days during which can go to work but not to bar nor restaurant. \nThe above\, which was officially announced on September 23\, immediately boost the city’s outbound.Thus\, ITE 2023 good timing for tapping into the recovering outbound markets of Hong Kong and more! \nPre-pandemic\, ITE drew over 2000 buyers and trade visitors from neighboring cities and attended also by around 1500 buyers and trade visitors from other provinces of China and other parts of Asia. In fact\, ITE is Hong Kong’s only and Asia’s major outbound travel fair. \nAttending ITE 2022 were 2752 trade visitors from locally and 31098 public visitors\, respectively up 8\,2% and 14\,7% over 2021\, and about 38% and 42% of 2019. Its first 1\,5 days only admitted registered trade visitors\, and visitors paid for admission in remaining 2\,5 days. \nThe ITE2022 public visitor survey\, which collected online 3344 replies\, found 55% will increase travel budget for the coming year while 35% uncertain; and 7% respondents will travel abroad within 1 month\, 21% within 3 months and 44% within 6 months. Collaboratively\, media reported ITE2022 exhibitors receive 10 times more serious enquiries\, believe many in Hong Kong can (afford) and have strong travel interest. While Northeast Asia remain top choice\, significantly\, 23% survey respondents picked Europe and North America among preferred post pandemic destinations. \nITE Hong Kong 2023\, which comprise of the 37th ITE (Leisure) & the 18th ITE MICE\, will be held from June 15 to 18\, 2023 at Halls 1 of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre\, with the first 1\,5 days for B2B and remaining 2\,5 days B2C.

The session will feature simultaneous interpretation in English\, French\, German\, Italian and Spanish. \nSince 2018\, several challenges have confronted the EU tourism ecosystem\, but it now has the tools to look forward towards 2030. \nAfter a long and intense co-creation process\, the transition pathway for tourism was published in February 2022 and was used as a basis for the European Tourism Agenda 2030\, adopted by the Council last December. \nOn the occasion of European tourism Day 2023\, the European Commission intends to organise \n\nan orientation debate to discuss the resilience of the ecosystem\nthree roundtables\, each focusing on different important aspects such as the twin transition and the upskilling of the workforce in the EU tourism ecosystem\n\nThe event will take place in Brussels on 5 May 2023.

SUMMARY:Roads to Rhodes Marathon 2023
DESCRIPTION:The 8th International Marathon ‘Roads to Rhodes Marathon’ is organized by the EAS SEGAS Dodecanese in cooperation with the South Aegean Region and the Rhodes Marathon NGO\, and with the support of the Municipality of Rhodes and D.O.P.A.R. \nThe marathon race will be held on April 30\, while a Halfmarathon\, a 10km\, a 5km will be held in parallel. \nAs one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe\, runners will see the island where the famous Colossus of Rhodes\, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World was standing\, along with the medieval Old Town\, which has been declared a World Heritage Site.  The route will traverse the western coastal part of the island and will arrive in the city center of Rhodes in a festive atmosphere. \nThe Rhodes marathon has the official approval of the Hellenic Athletics Federation SEGAS along with AIMS & IAAF\, which ensures the validity and the international recognition of the race. \nStay up to date by following official race’s accounts in facebook & instagram.
