On this occasion\, Thierry Breton\, Commissioner for Internal Market\, will exchange with tourism stakeholders in a dedicated opening debate. \nThe European Tourism Day will be a one-day\, onsite high-level meeting with the possibility for additional audiences to follow via web streaming. The session will feature simultaneous interpretation in English\, French\, German\, Italian and Spanish. \nSince 2018\, several challenges have confronted the EU tourism ecosystem\, but it now has the tools to look forward towards 2030. \nAfter a long and intense co-creation process\, the transition pathway for tourism was published in February 2022 and was used as a basis for the European Tourism Agenda 2030\, adopted by the Council last December. \nOn the occasion of European tourism Day 2023\, the European Commission intends to organise \n\nan orientation debate to discuss the resilience of the ecosystem\nthree roundtables\, each focusing on different important aspects such as the twin transition and the upskilling of the workforce in the EU tourism ecosystem\n\nThe event will take place in Brussels on 5 May 2023.

DESCRIPTION:Πρόκειται για τον πρώτα ιστορικά ημιμαραθώνιο της Αθήνας\, ο οποίος  επιστρέφει δυναμικά για 11η φορά την Κυριακή 23 Απριλίου 2023 στον Φαληρικό Όρμο. \nΤο φετινό πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει έξι διαφορετικούς αγώνες με μικρές\, μεσαίες και μεγάλες αποστάσεις. Το βασικό αγώνισμα της ημέρας είναι ο Ημιμαραθώνιος των 21\,1 χλμ με μια διαδρομή που περνά από τη Μαρίνα του Φλοίσβου\, το Κέντρο Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος\, την Πλατεία Νερού\, τη Λεωφόρο Ποσειδώνος και την παραλία Εδέμ. \nΠαράλληλα με τον Ημιμαραθώνιο διεξάγεται πάνω στην ίδια διαδρομή και ο Αγώνας Δρόμου Τέταρτο (1/4) Ημιμαραθώνιος.  Το παραλιακό μέτωπο διατρέχει και ο Αγώνας Δρόμου Novo Nordisk μήκους 5 χλμ και ο αγώνας Δυναμικού Βαδίσματος Novo Nordisk 5 χλμ. \nΑπό το σχεδιασμό\, δεν λείπει και ο παιδικός αγώνας  Athens Kids Run 1.000 μέτρων που απευθύνεται σε δρομείς έως 12 χρόνων. Όντας ευαισθητοποιημένος και στα κοινωνικά ζητήματα\, ο Ποσειδώνιος έχει εντάξει από την αρχή της διοργάνωσής του στο πρόγραμμά του Αγώνα Κοινωνικής Προσφοράς. Τρέχοντας ή βαδίζοντας για 1.000 ή 2.000 μέτρα\, οι συμμετέχοντες εδώ ενισχύουν το έργο του Πανελλήνιου Σύλλογου Προσαρμοσμένων Δραστηριοτήτων «ΑΛΜΑ»\, για παιδιά με νοητική υστέρηση και αυτισμό. \nΑφετηρία και τερματισμός του ημιμαραθωνίου και των παράλληλων αγώνων είναι το Πολιτιστικό και Αθλητικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Παλαιού Φαλήρου. SUMMARY:Kythira Mountain Bike (MTB) Challenge 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Kythira Mountain Bike (MTB) Challenge will be held on 1st April 2023 with starting point and finishing line in the village of Potamos. \nOrganized by the Kytherian Foundation for Culture & Development in collaboration with the Hellenic Cycling Federation and made possible with the support of volunteers\, the Kythira Mountain Bike Challenge includes the 74km Kythera Challenge for elite and master riders and two shorter courses: the 33km Kythera X-Pert and 19km Kythera Fun. \nAll races start at 11am on the main square of Potamos village and finish there also. Event organizers said the event will give cyclists a chance to discover the island by bike as well as Kythera’s 182 kilometers of mountain cycling routes\, which are being developed by the Kytherian Foundation for Culture & Development as part of efforts to promote the island as an adventure tourism destination. \nAmong others\, the aim is to create an integrated network of individual\, inter-connected and circular mountain bike courses for all levels. DESCRIPTION:H EY ZHN Greece σε συνδιοργάνωση με την Περιφέρεια Δυτικής Ελλάδος φέρνουν για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα τον θρυλικό ποδηλατικό αγώνα Tour De France\, μέσω του L’ Étape Greece by Tour de France presented by SKODA\, στις 1 και 2 Απριλίου 2023. \nΓια πρώτη φορά\, ο θρύλος του Tour de France\, του κορυφαίου ποδηλατικού αγώνα του κόσμου\, συναντά τον ελληνικό μύθο στα μαγευτικά τοπία της Δυτικής Ελλάδας και πιο συγκεκριμένα στην Αρχαία Ολυμπία. \nTo Tour de France είναι ο μεγαλύτερος ποδηλατικός αγώνας στον κόσμο και ένα από τα γνωστότερα αθλητικά θεάματα. Κάθε χρόνο τον παρακολουθούν με πάθος φίλαθλοι από όλον τον πλανήτη. Με αφορμή την δημοφιλία του αγώνα προέκυψε η δημιουργία του L’Étape by Tour de France\, ώστε να δώσει την ευκαιρία σε ερασιτέχνες ποδηλάτες να ζήσουν τη συγκίνηση του ποδηλατικού θεσμού\, σε μικρότερη κλίμακα. Με τον καιρό\, η σειρά έχει επεκταθεί σε 22 διεθνείς προορισμούς\, και φυσικά δεν θα μπορούσε να λείπει η Ελλάδα. \nΟι δυο αγωνιστικές επιλογές διαδρομών που παρέχει το L’Étape\, “The Race” (150χλμ) και “The Ride” (75χλμ)\, είναι κατάλληλες  για ερασιτέχνες ποδηλάτες οι οποίοι θέλουν να αγωνιστούν για να ξεπεράσουν τον εαυτό τους\, αλλά και για όσους θέλουν να απολαύσουν μια μοναδικής ομορφιάς κυκλική διαδρομή γύρω από τη γενέτειρα των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων\, την Αρχαία Ολυμπία. Participants will compete as a team\, in a shotgun scramble\, while having the opportunity to play golf on an 18-hole golf course\, par 72. Each team will consist of one professional golfer and three amateur players of the maritime industry. \nTeams participating in Glyfada Maritime Pro-Am will claim prizes for the top three positions in the overall standings; while special awards will be given to players who will achieve the best scores in the special categories of “Longest Drive” and “Closest to the Pin”. \nThe tournament is organized by Birdie Events and ActiveMedia Group and composes an initiative of the recognized Greek PGA golfer\, Mr. Thanos Karantzias. The event is exclusively addressed to distinguished executives of the Greek shipping community.
