DESCRIPTION:The Sani Festival\, the annual cultural initiative of the Sani Resort\, is celebrating its 26th anniversary and preparing to host some of the most renowned artists of the local and the international scene\, from July 7 to August 18 at the Sani Hill in the area of Kassandra in Halkidiki\, northern Greece. \nFor 26 years now\, Sani Festival’s main aspiration is to open up bridges of communication between tourism and the arts\, between Greek and foreign tourists. There is one language all people share\, that of the arts and of innovation\, placing before the public important artists and performers who are either visiting Greece for the first time or offering us an exclusive opportunity to enjoy their latest creation. \nSani Festival’s duty -in respect to the audience- is to defend high standards of quality in the arts and entertainment\, to advance the cause of culture and communication between natives and foreign visitors. \nAs part of the above and despite the fact that Sani Festival’s identity is an international music festival\, for its 2018 edition the organizers take a step further and broaden its perspectives into other forms of performing arts\, like modern dance\, music theatre. \nSani Festival will include the following sections: \n– Jazz on the Hill\, a three-day programme of jazz music \n– International Sounds\, dedicated to world music \n– Greek Variations \n– Classical Waves \nCheck the full program of the festival.
