The 2018 event showcased the many great things travel industry and travel advisors do in the world of travel. \nThe American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) strives to promote excellence within the travel industry and recognizes those professionals who make lasting contributions to the industry. \nThe Entrepreneur of the Year Award was established by the Dan and Gloria Bohan Foundation to promote the entrepreneurial spirit in the travel and hospitality industry through recognition of innovators who have either established their own business or who have been responsible for significant entrepreneurial initiatives within an existing organization. \nEach year\, the Foundation\, in conjunction with ASTA\, selects one person or organization that best exemplifies this spirit of entrepreneurship to receive the Award that is given onstage at ASTA’s annual Global Convention.

Since 1989\, it provides an annual marketing platform and the opportunity to network with the travel trade in all major cities. \nThe regional circuit of the TTF branded shows covering 9 major cities in India culminates into the grand finale – OTM\, India’s biggest travel trade show in India on the basis of number of sellers\, buyers and rented area. \nMore than 2\,500 exhibitors from 80 Countries and 36 Indian States / Union Territories have participated to TTF and OTM branded shows. \nOutbound Village@TTF is designed to highlight the International destinations\, who are interested in promoting directly in strong regional markets in India. \nTechForum@TTF is the only specialised showcase of its kind in India\, focusing on Technology\, E-commerce Systems & Software for the travel industry. It’s also a networking platform to discuss challenges\, evaluate technology needs\, source latest technologies and launch new technology products. \nThe city of Ahmedabad will host the third stop of the TTF 2019 events’ series during 30 August – 1 September\, at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall.
