DESCRIPTION:From September 25 to October 2\, the town of Nafpaktos will host the Lepanto Formula Kite Europeans\, an event that is expected to monopolize the interest providing with unique moments and emotions fans of the sport. \nEntries exceeded all expectations\, as all 150 available places were filled in a short time and athletes from a total of 37 countries will claim their place on the podium. \nIt is an international event that strengthens Greece on the international map of sports destinations. At the same time\, it mobilizes the mass of amateur athletes towards the competitive direction\, bringing Greece closer to great distinctions and to the creation of a new generation of Olympic athletes\, through a modern Olympic sailing competition. \nLepanto Formula Kite Europeans 2022 is jointly organized by the Municipality of Nafpaktos\, the Region of Western Greece\, the International Kiteboarding Association and the Sailing Club of Rio “IASON”. It will be held in cooperation with the Nautical Club of Nafpaktos and with the support of Municipal Port Authority of Nafpaktos. \nThe event is under the auspices of Sports’ General Secretarial\, Green National Tourism Organization\, World Sailing Federation\, Greek Sailing Federation and the Hellenic Kiteboarding Association. \n
