DESCRIPTION:FITUR is a global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets. \nFITUR will host\, once again\, the presentation ceremony for the UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism. These prestigious awards are presented each year by the UNWTO and their presentation at the trade fair clearly confirms the World Tourism Organisation’s recognition of FITUR’s importance. \nDuring the three-day trade fair  incorporates focused sections\, which consists by themselves separate smaller fairs: \n– FITURGREEN\n– FITURHEALTH\n– FITURSHOPPING\n– FITURTECH\n– FITURB2B\n– FITUR GAY LGBT\n– INVE TOUR\n– KNOW-HOW & EXPORT \nIn 2017 FITUR has beaten the participation record with 9\,893 exhibiting companies from 165 countries/regions\, 135\,858 trade participants and 107\,213 people from the  general public. Among the participation figures of note was the increase of  18.8% of international trade visitors compared to the previous staging. Morever the volumen of agendas organised by FITUR within the different B2B has reached 6\,800 business appointments.
