DESCRIPTION:The Ground Handling Conference is one of IATA’s main initiatives. It is an opportunity to raise awareness\, present the latest IATA research and build tomorrow’s solutions with ground handling professionals\, from all around the world. It is the premier industry event bringing together each link of the entire Ground Handling Value Chain. \nThis conference offers a unique opportunity to connect\, communicate and collaborate with Airlines\, Ground Service Providers\, Airport Authorities and Suppliers and offers various business and networking opportunities. \nGround handling is an integral part of airline operations. IATA strives to lead the industry towards improved safety and operational efficiency in ground handling by setting standards\, initiating and encouraging the implementation of global solutions. Among them\, the following initiatives have been developed as an integrated solution for ground operations tailored to risk management: \nAirport Handling Manual (AHM)\nIdentification of\, and updates to\, industry recommended practices \nIATA Ground Operations Manual (IGOM)\nDevelopment and implementation of standard procedures \nIATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO)\nOn-site verification of implementation of ground handling procedures \nGround Damage Database (GDDB)\nHazard identification\, including data analysis and feedback \nRegistrations are available here. \nThe Greek Travel Pages (GTP) is a media partner of the IATA Ground Handling Conference 2019. \n
