DESCRIPTION:The award-winning Navarino Challenge\, is set to return for its 11th anniversary year on October 12-15\, 2023 at Costa Navarino and Pylos\, anticipating hundreds of professional and amateur athletes\, who will take part in its numerous activities. \nPromoting sports for all with the participation of role-model athletes (Olympic Medalists\, World Champions) the event focuses on the respect for equality and diversity through sports\, and the education of youth through sports\, without any kind of discrimination\, maintaining the principles of the Olympic spirit and ideals\, which require mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship and brotherhood. \nOrganized by ActiveMedia Group\, the event will run under the motto “Sports Unites People” and will see the participation of people of all ages and abilities\, both amateurs and professionals\, from Greece and abroad. \nLast year\, Navarino Challenge had over 3\,000 participants hosted at the W Costa Navarino\, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino\, and The Romanos\, a Luxury Collection Resort. \nThis year’s event\, together with the Greek-American ultramarathoning legend and current ambassador of Greek Tourism\, Constantine “Dean” Karnazes\, along with dozens of Olympians and Paralympians\, will promote the value of participation rather than victory or competition\, featuring more than 40 activities and Olympic sports. \nWith the message #eatwell #runwell #livewell and its recognition as the best wellness program in Europe\, the event will endorse exercise and proper nutrition while promoting the benefits of the Messinian diet. \nRun the Greek Half Marathon in Voidokoilia along the picturesque coastline to Pylos\, the only running route that combines sand\, soil and asphalt. \nTry the 10km & 5km trail runs and enjoy the facilities of Costa Navarino\, with more than 10 Olympic sports and numerous indoor and outdoor wellness activities like pilates\, yoga\, spinning\, crossfit\, HIIT and more! \nBesides running the event includes the following activities: basketball lessons & 4 on 4 basketball tournament\, beach volley tournament\, tennis (tournament & lessons)\, beachathlon\, Pilates\, climbing\, bike ride at Voidokilia\, golf\, boxing\, cross-fit\, yoga\, kayak at Sphacteria\, high intensity training\, spinning and more. \nSocialize and stay up to date by following event’s official pages on facebook\, instagram\, twitter\, youtube \n  \nNavarino Challenge 2022 Highlights
