NOW!” the Marathon wants to raise awareness about diabetes and obesity\, while trying to help people adopting a healthier way of living by focusing around the importance and the benefits of exercise. \nThe Poseidon Athens Half Marathon\, includes the following parallel races & events: \nRaces: \n\nPoseidon Athens Half Marathon\, 21\,1 km – Poseidon Relay Half Marathon (2 runners) 21\,1 km\nPoseidon Quarter Marathon\, 11+ km\nRoad Run\, 5 km\nPower Walking 5 km\nPoseidon Athens Kids Run\, 1 km\nCharity Run “ALMA”\, 1 or 2 km\n\nThe Poseidon Athens Half Marathon is held under the auspices of Paleo Faliro Municipality\, Alimos Municipality\, Greek National Tourism Organization\, Hellenic Diabetes Association\, Hellenic Police and Hellenic Olympic Academy. The racing section is marked by the European Federation “Sport for All” (UESpT) and the Greek Federation of People’s Mass Sport – ultradistance (EOSLMA-Y).
