DESCRIPTION:Run Greece once again begins its journey around the Greece. Second stop will be the town of Heraklio\, where the Run Greece race will be held on April 7. \nIn 2019 the Run Greece events’ series is refreshed with a new functional design and a new look with the update of the marking and the races’ presentation. \nIn the same time reinforce its character by reducing the printings while focus on social responsibility issues\, on its establishment to a tourism event for every host town and with a bigger social media engagement. \nRun Greece is a recently established series of races\, cordially embraced by local societies and supported actively\, constantly surpassing the participation record of the previous event in each city. The races included in Run Greece are a 10km Road Race\, a 5km Road Race and a 1\,000m Children Road Race. \nRun Greece addresses both locals and runners from all over the Greece\, providing this way the opportunity to travel to an awesome race and meet the towns and their history\, residents’ hospitality and their beauty. \nRun Greece Heraklio is jointly organized by the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS)\, the Region of  Crete and the Municipality of Heraklio with the support of SEGAS’ regional office.\n \nThe Greek Travel Pages (GTP) is a media sponsor of the Run Greece events’ series.
