DESCRIPTION:Organized by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel and Tourism (IFITT)\, ENTER 2018 will be the 25th annual ENTER Conference. The conference offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from industry\, academia\, government\, and other organisations to actively exchange\, share\, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism. \nThe conference brings together the research community with industry and it is organised in three streams namely\, industry\, destinations and research tracks. The conference also features 6-8 world class keynote speakers. \nENTER 2018 is a “one of a kind conference”. It offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from academia\, industry and government on information and communication technologies and travel & tourism. In the conference the latest research meets successful business applications and best practice from cities\, regions and countries. An exceptional element of ENTER 2018 will be Focus Scandinavia and with it some 500 participants are expected. \nWith a theme Digital tourism: engagement\, content\, and networks the ENTER 2018 conference will focus on exploring emergent and cutting-edge ICT concepts\, applications\, managerial approaches and business models that reflect the progressive transformation in travel\, tourism and hospitality\, with a special focus on developing digital strategies that capitalise on content\, big data\, engagement\, and networks. \nThe ENTER 2018 in Jönköping is the 25th anniversary of this ground breaking conference which contributed to the development in e-tourism since the very first days of the World Wide Web!
