The meeting, organized by the joint initiative of the Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau and its Thessaloniki counterpart, focused on the latest developments within the domestic and international conference market and issues concerning the conference market of Athens and Thessaloniki. At a later meeting between Tourism Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos and the above-mentioned associations, it was decided to set up a work group between the associations and the Greek National Tourism Organization, which will prepare complete proposals and develop a specific action plan regarding tourism.
