Greece Through Posters - Nikitas & Evangelia Stafrinakis's collection

Tourism Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos recently launched the exhibition “Trek to the Greek Light and Color Through Posters of the GNTO” on Crete.

The exhibition portrays some 100 posters -from the – of the GNTO that reveal a number of striking images of Greece, which played a leading role in the promotion of Greece’s identity and image abroad.

“These posters are part of our cultural heritage,” said Mr. Spiliotopoulos.

“They illustrate the artistic trends as they evolved and developed throughout each decade and were imprinted on every generation.”

The exhibition, which runs until 15 October, is held at the Minos Palace hotel at Agios Nikolaos on Crete and is free for the public.
