Greek travel agency ARGO Travel & Tourist Bureau recently signed a multi-year agreement with Travelport GDS, one of the world’s leading global distribution system providers, for its Worldspan product.

Under the new agreement, Worldspan will provide ARGO Travel & Tourist Bureau with a range of new and enhanced products.

Travelport said that its market share in Greece has grown considerably over the past two years.

Recent contract signings also include Marine Tours and Aktina Travel, which, along with ARGO Travel & Tourist Bureau, are among the top ten agencies in the region.

Travelport GDS also announced that Damiano Sabatino is its new regional general manager for Southern Europe responsible for the company’s business operations in Italy, Israel and Greece.
