According to YPEE, during the 23-30 August period the service conducted on-the-spot checks on 540 tourism businesses in resort areas (including restaurants, entertainment establishments, hotels and car rental offices) and found that 346 had broken the law. According to the special inspections service YPEE, the average rate of violations was 64.07 percent, a percentage considered particularly high. The inspection crews of YPEE, from all regional directorates, have targeted the most popular tourism destinations, catering companies, hotels and lodgings, companies that provide services to organized beaches, and others involved directly or indirectly in the wider area of tourism.
