Marfin Investment Group will continue to place public interest above short-term business interests for as long as Greece is tested by the crisis, said the company’s President Andreas Vgenopoulos during the official inauguration ceremony of Olympic Air held at the company’s technical base at Athens International Airport. The ceremony, which attracted some 6,500 guests, included musical performances, trapeze acts and a catwalk presentation of the new crew uniforms of Olympic Air designed by Celia Kritharioti. “Today we celebrate the fact that our Olympic, which is part of our tradition, memories and dreams, continues to operate and takes Greece high above, with the support of all of Greek society…We are celebrating another great victory of Greek entrepreneurship,” Mr. Vgenopoulos said.
