An innovative program that aims to build new economic foundations in Greece is now open for registration.

The Fellowship promotes sustainable growth by investing in a new generation of Greek business leaders who can build strong companies able to compete in an increasingly global economy.

Fellows will represent a number of sectors with long-term growth potential, including but not limited to tourism & hospitality, food production, energy, information technology, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.  Through year-long placements in leading US businesses, Fellows will develop new skills, mindsets and capabilities to build these sectors back in Greece.  Participating US companies include IBM, Hostess Brands, Coca-Cola, Pabst, Dow Chemical, Huffington Post, Libra Group and many others.

In addition, Fellows will participate in a structured professional development to reinforce on-the-job experiences, exposing participants to leading thinking across economic sectors, business functions and international relations through multiple weekend-long seminars throughout the year.

The Fellowship is open to residents of Greece with academic or professional experience in the growth sectors listed above.  Accepted Fellows will receive a stipend ($35,000 – $45,000) and assistance with travel expenses.  Health insurance is provided.  Applicants must commit to return to Greece at the completion of the program or the stipend must be reimbursed. This commitment reinforces the fundamental objective of this program to build new foundations for the Greek economy.

The deadline for application is the 7th of May.
