Aiming to further increase the number of French travelers to the Greek capital, the City of Athens has launched a digital campaign in collaboration with Mastercard, a leading global payments and technology company. Photo Source: This is Athens Currently running via social media platforms in France, the campaign is addressed to Mastercard holders and includes three short videos describing three experiences focusing on Classical Athens, gastronomy and philosophy: The first experience provides the traveler with the opportunity to visit the Parthenon, the Ancient Agora, the Hill of Nymphs and the Athens Observatory under the night sky. The second takes travelers on a walk around Athens’ food stores, where they can shop and and then use the ingredients in a cooking class.
