The Stanley Hotel in Athens Upgrades its Information Technology Systems

The Stanley Hotel, located on Metaxourgio square in central Athens, has proceeded with the upgrade of its information technology systems and data center, as part of an ambitious renovation project.

According to an announcement, the hotel has installed Hyper-V cluster servers and virtual machines in order to gather all its applications under one system. The hotel has also proceeded with the adoption of a new payroll and human resources system designed by Athens-based company, Epsilon Net.

The Stanley hotel is currently running a three-phase renovation project, which started in 2015.

In 2017, the hotel completed the revamp of more than 250 rooms, which now include sound insulation, new furniture and flat TV screens. Furthermore, two conference venues were added to the hotel’s facilities, as well as a gym.

In 2018, the hotel proceeded with the installation of a digital signage system in its lobby, aiming to promote its products and services, and enhance the customer experience.

The hotel plans to complete the final phase of renovation works in 2019, with the upgrade of its wifi system in order to provide its guests with higher internet speed connections.
