Organized by New Times Publishing under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Travel & Tourist Agencies (FedHATTA), the awards recognize hotels, travel agencies, regions, tourism destinations, conference centers and business initiatives for their financial performance and contribution to Greek tourism. Panos Manderis and Thanos Salasidis received the “Best Performing Companies 2018” award on behalf of The Stanely Hotel. The award was received by Thanos Salasidis, Deputy Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing at The Stanley Hotel, and Panos Manderis, Assistant General Manager. “The award is the outcome of various changes that have taken place during the last couple of years at the hotel and involve its sales strategy, rebranding, product revamp, human resources, technology and information upgrades and lots of team work,” Salasidis said. Founded in 1966, The Stanley Hotel has a proud tradition in providing excellent services to its guests. Management underlines that the hotel, with its “highly trained staff, comfortable rooms and unique facilities, are key elements, offering a high-end hospitality experience”. Furthermore, the hotel’s three-year renovation project that includes the revamp of rooms and venues and the adoption of new technology features, has contributed to the upgrade of the overall accommodation experience The Stanley is located at Karaiskaki Square, near the city center. Its privileged location – outside the metro station of Metaxourgio, close to a taxi waiting area and tour bus stops – makes it easy to travel around the city. Also, the hotel’s rooftop terrace, with the swimming pool, bar and restaurant, is known for offering a stunning view of the Acropolis.
