A voluntary eco-label for hospitality facilities promoting sustainable tourism, the “Green Key” has been established by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). The Green Key initiative is coordinated in Greece by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature. “At Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel we care deeply about people and the environment… As a modern eco-labeled boutique hotel, we feel extremely proud for maintaining our Green Key certification,” the hotel’s management wrote on Kallichoron’s twitter account. The hotel also once again received the Guest Review Award by Booking.com for the high-quality services and unique experiences offered to its guests. The Guest Review Award honors excellence in accommodation services, based on the comments and reviews provided by the hotel’s guests. Booking.com partners must have an average review score of 8 or higher to receive the award. Kallichoron’s overall score reached 9.6. “We promise to continue offering authentic travel services, local gastronomy and traditional hospitality to our guests with the same devotion,” Kallichoron’s Hotel Manager Maria Mavroudi said.
