DNA Travel, a Greek agency that offers experiential tours and thematic tourism packages, is supporting the efforts of the Attica Wine & Food Experience association by offering its know-how and ideas for future endeavors.

Founded in 2017, the Attica Wine & Food Experience consists of wine producers, tourism professionals, caterers, wine and gastronomy lovers.

The association recently held its first meeting for 2019 in Athens to discuss ways of further developing wine tourism in the region of Attica. The event was attended by the association’s board of directors and members; Attica wine producers and tourism professionals who exchanged views, ideas and new strategies on how to attract more visitors to the area.

“The Attica Wine & Food Experience has unlimited potential, as the first step for Attica’s entry in a highly developed tourism market, where demand is constantly increasing, also attracting high-income visitors,” Iakovos Sachas, president and CEO of DNA Travel, said during the event.

According to Sachas, DNA Travel is willing to support the Attica Wine & Food Experience by offering its know-how. “I believe that we should support this movement in its efforts to grow and become part of Attica’s tourism product,” Sachas added.

During Athens’ meeting, local producers also held a wine tasting event for the association’s members and friends.
