Theotokis Travel Launches Thematic Tourism Services with St. Patrick’s Day Event

Theotokis Travel Congresses, a tourism agency based in Athens, is officially launching its thematic tourism services, starting with an exclusive small group tour to Grevena, northern Greece.

Named GrevenÉireTour, the tour is connected with a four-day long festival dedicated to St. Patrick’s Day* that will take place in Grevena during March 14-17.

Held in Grevena for the fifth consecutive year – and after four years of celebrating with musical events – the 2019 edition of the St. Patrick’s Day | An Irish Smolly Festival will be a four-day long festival, a tribute to Ireland’s culture. The festival will aim to introduce participants to the country’s traditions.

Theotokis Travel Congresses has joined the event through its GrevenÉireTour, which will depart from Athens on Friday, March 15.

“This will be a great Irish-colored weekend full of dances, films, concerts, gastronomy, as well as some religious services dedicated to Saint Patrick,” said the co-owner of Theotokis Travel Congresses, George Iordanidis.

Aside from the group tour, Theotokis Travel Congresses has also reserved rooms for independent travelers who wish to be more flexible during tour.

* Saint Patrick’s Day is a cultural and religious celebration held on March 17, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick (c. AD 385–461), the patron saint of Ireland.
