Company updates Accor: New ‘ibis Styles’ in Athens Opening in July by Nikos Krinis 11 June 2019 written by Nikos Krinis 11 June 2019 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 18 The newly built ibis Styles Athens Routes hotel in the Greek capital is getting ready to open its doors to guests that want to live the Athenian experience. A brand of Accor, “ibis Styles” is making its Athens debut on Vouliagmenis Avenue in July. Centrally located, the new hotel is inspired by ancient history and contemporary design with modern art details in each of its 89 rooms. “The upcoming opening of the ibis Styles Athens Routes confirms Accor’s growing interest in Greece,” the hotel’s manager, Alexandros Paterakis, told GTP Headlines. With the new ibis Styles in Athens, Accor expands its presence in Greece, following the successful operation in the Greek capital of two major brands of the chain – the Novotel Athens and Sofitel Athens Airport – and the opening of ibis Styles Heraklion Central two years ago on Crete. Accor is opening its ibis Styles Athens Routes hotel based on a franchising agreement signed with Greek company G. Lymperakis Invest OE. “The confidence shown by G. Lymperakis Invest OE to invest and work with perhaps the most successful brand of the chain marks a new day for hospitality options in Athens,” Paterakis said. The new hotel is in walking distance of all the interesting points of Athens, such as the Acropolis Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art, and very close to the Agios Ioannis metro station. The fresh and easygoing hotel vibe, the roof top bar with a panoramic view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus, and in-door parking are sure to offer a relaxing and carefree stay. “We are very proud to open our doors in July and offer our services to the visitors of the Greek capital,” Paterakis said, adding that guests should get ready for many experiences at ibis Styles. Strategically located near the city center, the ibis Styles Athens Routes hotel is considered ideal for business and leisure stays. The hotel also has two restaurants, two bars and three meeting rooms. With a rich history spanning close to five decades, Accor has a purposeful mission: to make every guest Feel Welcome, the hospitality group says on its website.
