Porto Carras Grand Resort
The Porto Carras Grand Resort, located in Halkidiki, northern Greece, has joined forces with Greek digital marketing company AboutHotelier, aiming to further increase its online direct bookings and sales.
According to an announcement, Porto Carras has adopted AboutHotelier’s RateStrip Price Check Widget, a price comparison tool that allows customers to compare a hotel’s online prices with other booking websites.
Through the cooperation, the resort is aiming to enhance its website’s user-friendly image and offer visitors the opportunity to search and easily access information on the best prices and availability.
Porto Carras’ partnership with AboutHotelier is expected to ultimately increase direct bookings to the resort by a significant percentage.
Located in Argos in the Peloponnese, Abouthotelier develops and promotes its own software for the creation of direct booking methods.
The RateStrip Price Check Widget also informs internet users on the lowest available room prices compared with Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and presents the hotel’s ratings on various review channels and websites. The latter is considered of high importance as, according to research, 93 percent of users are interested in reading reviews before they book.
