A former printing house in one of Athens’ hippest districts has been restored, renovated and equipped with the latest hospitality has to offer and is now welcoming guests as the new Editor Hotel Athens.

Located next to Monastiraki Station, near happening Agia Eirinis Square and minutes away from such Athens highlights as the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, the Roman Agora and the picturesque Plaka borough, the boutique Editor Athens Hotel – the newest member of the Tresor Hotels & Resorts – HIP Hospitality network – is ready to offer visitors an urban getaway in the heart of the bustling Greek capital.

The name of the 4-star Editor Athens Hotel is inspired by the premises, a refurbished building that served as headquarters for the historic Greek sports daily “Athlitiki Echo”, first published in 1945.

The hotel’s 40 rooms and suites have been designed with emphasis on light and functionality, in contemporary tones and minimal flavors, offering the finest amenities and small luxuries, including room service, free Wi-Fi access, mini bar, safe, and walk-in shower.

The Editor Athens Hotel also includes a modern business center, concierge services, and offers an excellent rooftop dining experience at the “Stories Urban Bistronomy”.

With a captivating view to the Acropolis, Stories Urban Bistronomy offers the finest Greek cuisine-inspired dishes prepared by in-house Executive Chef Yiannis Liokas in a full-view, open-plan kitchen.

True to its pampering philosophy, the Editor Athens Hotel also makes sure guests feel at home at its all-day restaurant – The Publisher – and bar, serving favorite comfort foods, cocktails and drinks.
