Bringing the whole safari idea to Greece in 2013, in the sense of exploring the unknown, Uncharted Escapes (former Safari Adventures) began its journey on Crete with unique all-year round Land Rover safari adventures and speed boating tours in Chania and Rethymnon. The tours soon expanded to different locations all over Greece, including Santorini, Rhodes, Kos and Corfu. The company has now expanded and offers tours to explore the unknown of Athens. “I am pleased that an idea launched in 2013 to highlight a destination’s culture and promote excursions beyond the usual, where only a four-wheel drive vehicle can reach, has brought much attention to Greece and attracted the interest of travelers from all over the worlds,” the company’s founder, Manolis Malaxianakis, told GTP Headlines. Uncharted Escapes looks to offer tours to the unseen and the unknown, exploration of local cultures and uncharted lands, led by professional local guides/drivers that offer local insight and premium services. “I am proud that in combination with the high quality of our services, we are able to offer unique experiences to our travelers in seven areas in Greece, with the official announcement of the start of our mapping trips in Athens,” Malaxianakis added. Uncharted Escapes offers scheduled tours daily and guests can choose from a wide range of options, from single-day trips to multiple day excursions, group adventures and private tours.
