On occasion of International Women’s Day, GTP Headlines has invited women in Greek tourism to take a stand and answer the following question:

What is the greatest challenge for Greek tourism in the post-Covid-19 era and what is the first step to address it?

“The challenge? An accelerated change in tourism and especially in luxury travel. It will be much more than just visiting beautiful places or getting the perfect shot. A new wave of thoughtful travelers are now looking to create a real connection with people, interested in mindfulness, sustainability and personal change.
Deeply rooted in culture, Greece and Greek tourism, with its diversity and family-oriented character, is in a unique position to move away from mass trends and embrace this change: sustainability, personalization, and respect for what makes our country unique should be at the forefront.”
