On occasion of International Women’s Day, GTP Headlines has invited women in Greek tourism to take a stand and answer the following question:

What is the greatest challenge for Greek tourism in the post-Covid-19 era and what is the first step to address it?

“The challenge ahead is developing professional standards and best practices linked with conference and business meetings, as well as, the recognition of our sector’s key role and dynamic.
The first step is to recognize the importance of conference tourism on national and international levels and to restart our activities the soonest possible, under updated guidelines.
2021 is the right year to rebrand Greece and to promote our country as a leading MICE tourism destination worldwide laying the foundations for 2022.”
