On occasion of International Women’s Day, GTP Headlines has invited women in Greek tourism to take a stand and answer the following question:

What is the greatest challenge for Greek tourism in the post-Covid-19 era and what is the first step to address it?

“In 2021, our tourism industry must achieve 50 percent of 2019 revenues. This is something Thessaloniki and Northern Greece can achieve with the strict implementation of health protocols at land border points. Road tourism from the Balkans and Central Europe will be our priority.”

Voula Patoulidou
Thessaloniki Regional Vice Governor
President, Thessaloniki Tourism Organization
