Explor.gr, a Greek company offering tourism experiences, has resumed operations and is ready to welcome travelers from all over the world to the island of Crete.

“We are happy to announce the restart of our programs with upgraded safety regulations, specialized staff, strict health standards and high-quality services for our customers,” the company’s management said in an announcement.

Based in Heraklion, the company organizes outdoor activities that include:

  • VIP excursions
  • trekking
  • river trekking
  • climbing
  • interactive sailing (guests can actively participate as part of the crew)
  • canyoning
  • jeep safaris
  • via ferrata (a protected climbing route built with a steel cable rail fixed to the rock, metal steps, ladders, suspension bridges and zip wires)
  • multi-day tours combining safari and sailing

Opportunity to explore ‘the real Crete’

“Crete has much more to offer than just beautiful beaches, luxury hotels and mainstream recreational tourism activities,” according to the company’s management.

Explor.gr this year has designed amazing experiences for its customers, offering them the opportunity to explore “the real Crete” and its hidden destinations.

Explor.gr operates under the latest Covid-19 health standards announced by the World Health Organization (WHO), the centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Greek authorities.
