Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection Appoints New F&B Manager

Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection has appointed Yiannis Liakopoulos as its new F&B manager to oversee the food and beverages departments of its dining outlets.

With years of experience in the hospitality industry, Yiannis aims to elevate the hotel’s culinary appeal and enhance the dining experience for guests.

He will be in charge of the hotel’s dining outlets and cafe, including MFlavors, Mappemonde Restaurant Bar & Lounge as well as the Galerie Café. He also will oversee the hotel’s in-room dining.

Prior to joining Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection, Yiannis was the general manager of the E&O restaurant at the Athens Marriott Hotel. He also previously served as the F&B manager at the Santa Marina Resort & Villas, the F&B manager at YES Hotels and as the Complex Beverage Manager at the luxury Costa Navarino resort in Messinia.

Having studied Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Yiannis began his career in hospitality as Assistant Restaurant and Beverage Manager at the Μatsuhisa Athens restaurant at the Astir Palace Vouliagmeni resort.

Part of the portfolio of Lampsa Hellenic Hotels SA, the Athens Capital Hotel is the first ever MGallery Collection Hotel by Accor in Greece.

In a statement, Yiannis said he is proud to be part of the family of the Lampsa Group and the multinational company Accor.
