Photo source: Discover the World Greece & Cyprus The latest news and developments of Canada’s Air Transat were presented to leading Greek travel agents in northern Greece during a recent event at the Mediterranean Palace hotel in Thessaloniki. The event was hosted by the airline’s general sales agent (GSA) in Greece, Discover the World Greece and Cyprus. Attended by Macedonia-Thrace Travel Agents Association President Vyron Theologis, local travel agents and Canada’s Honourary Consul in Thessaloniki, Pantelis Petmezas, the event centered around Air Transat’s summer program for 2023. As of May 27, Air Transat will operate direct flights from Athens to Montreal and Toronto. The flights will be operated with an Airbus A330 with a frequency of up to four flights per week. The carrier’s routes will be extended with domestic flights to Quebec, Calgary, Vancouver, as well as San Francisco in the United States.
