More than 330 travel bloggers and content creators from across the globe will be visiting Greece on May 8-11 for ΤΒΕΧ Εurope 2023 taking place this year in Kalamata in the Peloponnese. Bloggers, travel content creators, and online travel media will have the chance to learn more about Greece and to network during dozens of planned fam trips, day trips, parties and events. The motto this year is “Just Can’t Get Enough – Peloponnese Beyond the Obvious”. More specifically, so far two networking nights have been planned in Messinia, 11 day trips for 250 participants running on May 8-9, 17 three-day trips at destinations across the Peloponnese and in Western Greece which start on May 12. Photo source: TBEX. Greece will be the word for the four-day event as bloggers will be posting their adventures to millions of followers on social media. Some of the experiences planned include visits to museums and archaeological sites, water sports, treks, swimming and diving, horseback riding, hiking in the mountains, city tours, castle visits, wine, oil and honey tastings, as well as Greek food events. ΤΒΕΧ Europe 2023 is organized by the Peloponnese Region with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), municipalities, regional authorities, tourism and hospitality enterprises, local chambers and hotelier associations, the Peloponnese Tourism Organization (PTO) and the Kalamata Airport, with the sponsorship of over 40 businesses in Greece and abroad. Photo source: TBEX. As part of the global travel blogging event, participants will be touring the Peloponnese Region for days before and after the end of TBEX Europe 2023. Some highlights include a fam event for 150 official guests hosted by Costa Navarino at the W Costa Navarino on May 8, followed by the official launch of TBEX Europe 2023 on May 9 at the Historical Center of Kalamata with the Peloponnese Food Stories, introducing TBEXers to Peloponnese foods and products. TBEX Kalamata will come to a close with a farewell party on May 11 in Verga, offering participants panoramic views of Kalamata, which is the second Greek city to host a TBEX conference.
