Owned and operated by Zeus International, the new ultra-all-inclusive resort builds on the Greek company’s longstanding collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The new Ajul resort marks the latest addition to Wyndham’s portfolio, which includes 9,100 hotels spanning more than 95 countries. It is also the first resort in Europe to open under Wyndham’s Registry Collection Hotel brand, a portfolio of 16 properties across Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Located near the village of Agia Paraskevi, which is renowned for its thermal baths, Ajul offers access to pristine beaches, Mediterranean forests and unique views of the Aegean Sea and Mount Olympus. “This resort is designed for the future, adapted to the new needs of customers for privacy and socialization at the same time… Ajul was designed to belong to tomorrow,” said Zeus International President and CEO Haris Siganos. The new Ajul is the company’s third hotel in Halkidiki and one of the eight fully owned by Zeus International. It currently consists of 171 luxury rooms (600 beds), including private villas and bungalows; five swimming pools; and a spa center. What’s next Presenting the resort to a group of journalists earlier this month, Siganos said that the Ajul is Zeus International’s most ambitious project and, when completed, will be an investment of over 120 million euros. Plans at Ajul include the addition of another 90 rooms, bringing the total number of rooms to 270 (1,700 beds) and the creation of a cable car system for direct access to the beach. Also, the road that currently provides access to the coast will be transformed into an esplanade to give guests the opportunity to take strolls on the forested slopes and this way boost their “green” experience at the hotel. Moreover, Siganos said that the possibility of creating a marina is also being explored. “This particular investment is the first step of a vision for the greater growth of Zeus International,” Siganos said, adding that works at the Ajul resort are expected to be completed in two years. Inside the Ajul Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort A beachfront hotel, the Ajul Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort, a Registry Collection Hotel offers 171 luxurious rooms up to 85 square meters, including 26 high-end private villas up to 580 square meters and 92 bungalows up to 135 square meters, most with private pools and all with sea-views.
