Named “91 Athens Riviera” and set to open during the Spring of 2024, the 50-million-euro project will introduce the concept of glamping (glamorous camping) to the Greek market. Spread out in an area of 45,000 square meters, the new glamping site will include 30 luxurious tents on the premises. Guests and members will have access to a wide range of facilities and enjoy services and experiences focused around wellness, relaxation and fitness. “Our goal is to offer excellent services and high-quality amenities in a unique space that will combine luxury with the natural environment,” Lisa Hohenstein, Grivalia Hospitality’s head of development for the Private Members Club. The “91 Athens Riviera” site will include 8 large tennis courts, 2 small tennis courts, an indoor/outdoor gym with state-of-the-art equipment and a beach volleyball court. Professional tennis instructors will be on site to assist players while all glamping guests and club members will be able to participate in individual or group training programs. To manage the project, Grivalia Hospitality has entered into a long-term contract with leading lifestyle hospitality group Domes, adopting its Domes Reserve concept. With Domes’ reputation and expertise in the luxury hospitality industry, the partnership is expected to help deliver top-notch services and experiences to all guests. Moreover, guests will have direct access to the beach, where they can also taste the creations of the BARBAROSSA PAROS restaurant, which will be located on the premises of “91 Athens Riviera” having “arrived” from Paros. It is noted that “91 Athens Riviera” is another project of Grivalia Hospitality that puts sustainability and sustainable development at the forefront. The project promotes sustainability as it combines elements of luxury with the best environmental practices for responsible construction and operation. According to Grivalia, the upcoming development will help upgrade the Athenian Riviera and transform it into an “ultra-luxury hospitality destination”, setting new standards in the Greek hospitality market. “We are very proud and excited that 91 Athens Riviera is moving forward. The glamping and members club is expected to reshape the entire area and contribute to upgrading the tourist product offered by the Athenian Riviera,” said Hohenstein.
