Celebrity Infinity is one of Celebrity Cruises’ four vessels known as Millennium-class (built between 1999 and 2002). Speaking to a group of tourism professionals and journalists during an exclusive event aboard the ship on Friday, Navigator Travel & Tourist Services Sales Executive Eleni Karachaliou said that by choosing Piraeus as its homeport, Celebrity Cruises is investing in the Greek market and making it easier and more affordable for Greek travelers to experience the company’s top notch hospitality and various destinations on its schedule. Photo source © Greek Travel Pages Until the end of October, the Celebrity Infinity will depart and return to Piraeus on a variety of 7- to 11-night itineraries to Greek destinations such as Thessaloniki, Volos, Nafplio, Mykonos or Santorini, Istanbul and Kusadasi in Turkey, and Limassol in Cyprus. “This time of year, all of the ship’s itineraries make overnight stops in Thessaloniki before continuing,” Karachaliou informed. Renovated last January, the cruise ship includes 11 decks with the capacity to host up to 2,170 passengers. Among its new additions is the Retreat Lounge for passengers staying in suites, while the Family Suites were converted into Sunset Suites. The Retreat Lounge. Photo source © Greek Travel Pages The Retreat Lounge suite offers a private restaurant and an exclusive lounge where passengers can enjoy gourmet snacks and refreshment beverages with live music. Additionally, concierge service is available for passengers in Concierge Class, providing them with every service they will need on and offboard. The spacious Sunset Suites, located on the aft part (rear section) of the ship, have a larger balcony so that guests can enjoy a unique view of the sunset. Photo source © Greek Travel Pages In summer 2024, five more cruise ships of the company will be sailing in Europe: Celebrity Ascent in west and east Mediterranea; Celebrity Constellation in the Adriatic Sea; Celebrity Equinox traveling to destinations in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco; and Celebrity Apex from Southampton to the Norwegian Fjords, Iceland, and Ireland. Additionally, the line’s “Silhouette” will take its passengers from Rotterdam to the Baltic, Scandinavia, and the British Isles.
