Photo source: Mar-Bella Collection Ahead of the 2024 season, the Mar-Bella Collection announced that it will be introducing an exciting array of changes across its three luxury five-star hotels. A family-owned Greek luxury hospitality brand, members of the collection include MarBella and Nido on Corfu, and Elix in the area of Parga in Epirus. MarBella enters summer with new room types & new restaurant Guests at the MarBella on Corfu this year will find new room types following the completion of the hotel’s major renovation project. Last year MarBella introduced 67 newly redesigned and extended suites which included new room types. Following the renovation’s final stage, the hotel now offers eight new room types, including spacious rooms tailored for couples, two plus one rooms for smaller families – complete with a double bed and a luxurious sofa bed, offering an optimal layout for families of three. Photo source: Mar-Bella Collection This year will also see a new F&B offering at MarBella, with the opening of Mediterranean restaurant Kuzina (kitchen) guided by the expertise of acclaimed Greek Chef Sotiris Evaggelou and Mar-Bella Collection’s Executive Chef Alexandros Kapsokavadis. A poolside Mediterranean restaurant, Kuzina will present a varied gastronomy selection, spanning from breakfast buffet and brunch to a la carte lunch and dinner service. In addition, MarBella’s Deck & Bar Grill and Eleonas restaurant will also offer something new this year. Deck & Bar Grill will transition into a seafood grill, offering an array of options for seafood enthusiasts while the Eleonas rooftop bar will bring guests a jazzy and vibrant atmosphere accompanied by a choice of signature cocktails. Set in the serene courtyard of the hotel’s chapel, the venue will offer complimentary Greek coffee and sweets twice a week as well as hosting pop-up Greek nights throughout the season for its guests. At Elix, guests will have the opportunity to extend their time at the beach with extended operating hours at the Azure Beach Bar. In addition to the live music offering at the hotel bar, a new entertainment concept awaits in the outdoor amphitheatre overlooking the Ionian. Photo source: Mar-Bella Collection Moreover, this season the two hotels will see the revival of the Collection’s partnership with OYOGO, a fitness and wellbeing agency based in London. From May to October, fitness and wellbeing-based pop-up OYOGO events will take place at Elix while Nido will offer complimentary yoga sessions twice a week.
