Company updates Avant Mar’s 2024 Season Ends with Success, Sets the Stage for 2025 by Nikos Krinis 21 October 2024 written by Nikos Krinis 21 October 2024 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 28 The 2024 tourism season at Avant Mar, a 5-star boutique hotel on Paros, concluded in October, following a successful summer filled with noteworthy events each month. Having opened for its first full season in April, the beachfront property offered guests a blend of refined accommodations and unique experiences, establishing itself as a distinctive destination on the island. In May, just one month after reopening, the hotel’s Matsuhisa Paros restaurant received the Best Restaurant Award from the respected FNL Guide, recognizing its standing among Greece’s top fine-dining venues and underscoring the Nobu brand’s culinary excellence. In June, Avant Mar introduced a new feature, “The Bridge” Gin and Tonic Bar, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. The bar became a popular spot for guests looking for a new ‘Bar Destination’ on Paros where they could enjoy signature cocktails in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, complemented by the scenic coastal surroundings. A highlight in July was the visit of renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who hosted an exclusive Sake Ceremony at the hotel as part of the Nobu Festival. The event attracted culinary enthusiasts from around the world, and its success has led to plans for the festival’s return in July 2025. Matsuhisa Paros concluded its season in mid-September, following three months of highly praised dining that drew both locals and international guests. Now officially closed for the season, Avant Mar looks ahead to reopening on April 16, 2025, just ahead of both Catholic and Orthodox Easter, preparing for another year of delivering high-end hospitality. Owned by Grivalia Hospitality, Avant Mar is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, an organization representing more than 400 luxury hotels in over 80 countries.
