The Athens – Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association has appointed Evgenios Vassilikos as its new president for a three-year term following recent elections. He succeeds Lambrini Karanasiou-Zoulovits. Vassilikos, previously serving as the association’s Secretary General, is also the Chief Operating Officer of Airotel Group, which operates six hotels across Athens, Patra, and Kavala. He is also the CEO of Capital H, a boutique hotel management company. After his election, Vassilikos expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Board of Directors and the association’s members. He emphasized his commitment to fostering constructive cooperation to strengthen the hotel sector in Athens, Attica, and the Argosaronic Gulf. He pursued Hotel Management studies in Paris before returning to Greece to join the family business, Airotel Group of Hotels. Vassilikos gained extensive experience in various roles within the company before becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2010. He is also a board member of the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation.
