The Herodion Hotel in Athens recently hosted a pre-Christmas celebration for journalists, business partners and guests to mark the start of the holiday season, offering a preview of its festive ambiance.

Situated just 289 steps from the Acropolis, the hotel provides the perfect setting for travelers seeking an authentic Athenian experience year-round. During the holiday season, the Herodion welcomes guests with a series of events and celebrations to create a memorable festive atmosphere.

“This season is all about preparation as we get ready for the holidays,” said Katia Tsimidopoulou, co-owner of the Herodion Hotel. “We consider ourselves a large family, with a team of caring individuals dedicated to creating opportunities and memorable experiences for our guests.”

The hotel’s warm and inviting Christmas spirit was evident as guests enjoyed the hotel’s culinary delights by a crackling fire, surrounded by beautifully decorated trees and intricate holiday ornaments.

Attendees were also invited to explore the hotel’s rooms, each showcasing elegant Athenian architectural features, including sophisticated marble details. A guided tour of the hotel’s Point A restaurant, known for its Mediterranean cuisine and stunning summer views of the city, further showcased the hotel’s appeal.

The outdoor spaces made a lasting impression, especially the Jacuzzis, which offered guests the unique luxury of relaxing while enjoying spectacular views of the Acropolis and the surrounding city.
