  • GTP: Vassilis, could you please share some career highlights and also introduce THE VSCOPE to our readers?

Vassilis Polyzos: Absolutely, Nikos. My journey in digital marketing began with a focus on blending creativity and performance to deliver impactful results. This passion for innovation and storytelling led to the founding of THE VSCOPE in 2019. Our vision was clear from day one: to create a creative agency that specializes in digital marketing and content production for the hospitality industry, offering premium solutions tailored to the sector’s unique needs.
What differentiates THE VSCOPE is our vertical focus on hospitality, which allows us to deeply understand the industry’s challenges and opportunities. We simplify complex marketing solutions while prioritizing quality, speed, and aesthetics. Our ability to merge performance marketing with top-tier content production has earned us the trust of leading global brands and positioned us as the agency with the most premium and prestigious portfolio in the hospitality industry in Greece. Our recognition as the “Travel Marketing Agency of the Year” at the 1st Travel Marketing Awards in Greece highlights our commitment to excellence and innovation.

  • GTP: THE VSCOPE offers a wide range of services, including consulting, content strategy and production, and performance marketing. How have these evolved over the years to keep up with industry trends, and how has AI been integrated into your offerings?

Vassilis Polyzos: Our services have evolved significantly to stay ahead of trends. Initially, we focused on delivering visually compelling content and data-driven performance strategies. As the market shifted, we embraced AI to enhance these processes and scale results without compromising quality.
AI now plays a central role in everything we do, not to replace creativity but to accelerate inspiration and streamline processes. All of our copywriting passes through our team of highly skilled creative copywriters, ensuring quality and originality. Tools like ChatGPT and Copy AI act as starting points, enabling us to quickly brainstorm ideas and test variations, while ensuring that all final outputs are crafted and polished by our talented creative copywriters.
We’ve also integrated AI tools like MidJourney for AI-generated visuals and Adobe tools such as Photoshop and Lightroom. While we have always used these platforms to deliver high-quality visuals, the integration of generative AI capabilities has significantly accelerated processes like image enhancement and retouching. This has allowed us to maintain our standard of quality while becoming even more productive and efficient.

  • GTP: Your recent presentation at the XENIA hospitality expo focused on how Generative AI is revolutionizing content creation for tourism businesses. Could you elaborate on some of the key applications and examples you shared?

Vassilis Polyzos: At XENIA, we demonstrated how Generative AI is transforming content creation for both hotels and destinations. For instance, we showcased how MidJourney can generate visuals that beautifully capture the essence of destinations, helping to inspire travelers and enhance storytelling for marketing campaigns.
We also highlighted LipDub AI’s impressive localization capabilities. During the presentation, we demonstrated how, in videos produced for our hotel clients, we adapted the language of narration while keeping the voices and facial expressions of the characters natural and realistic. This ensures a seamless and authentic viewing experience for international audiences. This level of localization is crucial for hotels catering to diverse international audiences and ensures a consistent, high-quality presentation across markets.
Additionally, we presented Synthesia, which simplifies video production by creating AI avatars for training materials, HR communications, and personalized guest messages. These avatars can even feature team members or company executives, adding a personal and authentic touch to the content.
Finally, we showcased Descript AI and Eleven Labs, demonstrating their capabilities in creating localized voiceovers and streamlining video editing processes. These tools illustrated how AI accelerates workflows while preserving the creativity and authenticity required for impactful storytelling.

  • GTP: How does THE VSCOPE leverage AI to enhance content strategies for its clients in the tourism sector?

Vassilis Polyzos: AI plays a key role in optimizing content strategies by analyzing audience behavior, predicting trends, and refining messaging. Tools like ChatGPT enable us to derive actionable insights and craft data-driven strategies that resonate with target audiences.
For video production, LipDub AI ensures seamless localization, adapting narration to multiple languages while maintaining authenticity. In photo and video editing, tools like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom enhance workflows, enabling us to deliver impactful visuals quickly and efficiently. By combining AI-driven efficiencies with creative expertise, we produce tailored campaigns that elevate our clients’ brands.

  • GTP: What are some of the challenges you see businesses facing when adopting AI-powered tools, and how does THE VSCOPE help address these challenges?

Vassilis Polyzos: One challenge is the perception that AI might replace creativity, leading to generic content. Another is the steep learning curve associated with new tools. Businesses often struggle to balance automation with authenticity.
At THE VSCOPE, we guide our clients through this transition, showing them how AI can enhance – not replace – creativity. We provide training and customized solutions that integrate AI into their workflows while preserving their unique brand voice. This hybrid approach ensures that campaigns remain engaging and human-centric.

  • GTP: Also at XENIA, you introduced THE VSCOPE’s exclusive collaboration with Videobot. Could you explain how this innovative widget works and how it enhances website interaction and direct bookings for hospitality businesses?

Vassilis Polyzos: Videobot is a cutting-edge widget that allows businesses to integrate interactive video content directly into their websites. It supports a wide range of video formats, from virtual room tours and staff introductions to storytelling about the hotel experience.
For hospitality businesses, Videobot is more than a virtual assistant – it transforms website navigation by enabling seamless interaction and accelerating the user flow. Visitors can explore spaces visually, hear from staff, and engage with personalized content, leading to higher engagement and faster conversions. The ability to use existing videos makes it highly flexible and accessible for businesses of all sizes.

  • GTP: What kind of feedback or results have your clients seen so far from using Videobot?

Vassilis Polyzos: The results have been outstanding. Clients have reported increases in website engagement and direct bookings. For example, one of our clients saw a 30% rise in inquiries within the first month of implementation. This validates the widget’s ability to convert interest into bookings by offering a seamless and engaging user experience. Additionally, clients have noted how it accelerates decision-making by simplifying the user journey through rich visual storytelling.

  • GTP: Could you tell us about some of the hotels currently in THE VSCOPE’s portfolio? Are there any new partnerships formed in 2024 that you’d like to highlight?

Vassilis Polyzos: We are proud to have the most prestigious portfolio in the digital and hospitality niche in Greece. Our collaborations include globally renowned brands such as Four Seasons Athens, One & Only Aesthesis, Marriott properties like Moxy Athens, Empiria Group, Stella Hotels, Nana Hotels, Domes Resorts, NUMO Hotels, Kalesma Mykonos, Olea All Suite Hotel, Gundari Folegandros, H Hotels Collection, and Thanos Hotels & Resorts. Beyond hotels, we also work with high-profile restaurants such as Matsuhisa and The Zillers Rooftop Gastronomy.
In 2024, we enriched our portfolio with several boutique hotels and eco-resorts, including Tella Thera in Chania, reflecting our focus on sustainability and innovation. These collaborations align seamlessly with our vision of championing brands that redefine the hospitality experience.
For 2025, we are thrilled about ongoing discussions surrounding remarkable projects with our existing clients and exciting new partnerships, which we look forward to announcing soon. This year marks a significant milestone for us, as we strive to expand internationally through a major collaboration currently underway. These developments highlight our unwavering commitment to supporting brands that are reshaping the hospitality landscape.

  • GTP: From your perspective, what are the biggest challenges the hospitality and tourism industry is facing today, particularly in relation to AI and digital marketing?

Vassilis Polyzos: The hospitality and tourism industry is navigating a landscape of rapid technological change, and one of the biggest challenges is staying ahead of the curve while preserving the essence of human connection. Many businesses struggle to integrate AI tools effectively, often facing concerns about losing their brand’s authenticity or finding it difficult to understand how these tools can complement their existing workflows.
Another key challenge is the sheer pace of digital transformation. The ability to adapt quickly to new tools and platforms, while also training teams to use them efficiently, can be overwhelming for many organizations. At the same time, there is a growing demand for hyper-personalized and localized content that resonates with diverse global audiences – something that requires both technological precision and creative expertise.
At THE VSCOPE, we tackle these challenges head-on by offering tailored solutions that merge cutting-edge AI technologies with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. We help our clients implement AI in ways that amplify their unique brand voice rather than replace it. Through personalized training, strategic planning, and continuous support, we ensure that AI becomes an enabler of creativity and efficiency. This approach allows businesses to meet the expectations of modern travelers while staying true to their identity.

  • GTP: Looking ahead, how do you see AI and innovative technologies shaping the future of digital marketing in the tourism sector, and what role will THE VSCOPE play in that transformation?

Vassilis Polyzos: AI will continue to revolutionize marketing with hyper-personalization, predictive analytics, and immersive experiences like augmented reality. At THE VSCOPE, we are committed to leading this transformation by integrating new technologies while staying true to our core values of quality and creativity.
We see ourselves as pioneers, empowering hospitality brands to leverage AI effectively while maintaining authenticity. This approach ensures sustainable growth and sets new benchmarks for innovation in the tourism industry.
